After reading this article thought I could apply it best by creating one of the activities talked about: a Choice Board. I can see choice boards being great for two types of activities. The first activity would be to use a choice board as a warm-up drawing where they can choose something to draw in their sketchbook. The second use for a choice board could be to do some research on a specific theme and the artists involved in it to guide the student before they start their project. I think choice boards are a great way to add a little bit of structure to TAB. The first row of my board allows students to explore different ways to make art. The second row is to get students to look at art. The third row is to get students to start analyzing art. The fourth video is to get students familiar with art techniques. And the last row is to show students different ways to plan a project. It would be interesting to do this every week for 5 weeks until all of the students have everything on the board checked off.
